Rick Santorum: "colleges and universities are indoctrination mills"

From CBS News:

Obama wants more young adults to go to college so they can undergo "indoctrination" to a secular world DALLAS, Texas - Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum said Thursday that President view.
In an hour-long interview with conservative television host Glenn Beck, Santorum also defended his record on abortion and his vote in favor of President George W. Bush's No Child Left Behind education law.
On the president's efforts to boost college attendance, Santorum said, "I understand why Barack Obama wants to send every kid to college, because of their indoctrination mills, absolutely ... The indoctrination that is going on at the university level is a harm to our country."
He claimed that "62 percent of kids who go into college with a faith commitment leave without it," but declined to cite a source for the figure. And he floated the idea of requiring universities that receive public funds have "intellectual diversity" on campus.

I am not sure just where Santorum is getting his "62 percent" figure from - but I totally agree that there are many students of higher learning, who do in fact leave their delusional religious beliefs behind them after graduation from intuitions of higher education. But the relevant question here is why?

Could the reasons that students of higher learning are leaving their religiously indoctrinated faiths behind them be because for the first time in their lives, they have discover that there are actually other people who hold different religious beliefs than their own or have no religious faith at all. Or could the reasons be, that they have learned the fact that the universe is not thousands of years old, but is in fact billions of years old; or could it be that they have learned the fact, that the universe and all life here on earth, was not created in 6 days, as they were indoctrinated to believe as young children -- when in reality, the real fact is that these processes have taken billions of years, and are still going on even today; or could it be the fact that through the modern science of biology, and the complete DNA mapping of both humans and the great apes, that we now have unquestionable evidence, that both humans and the great apes, both evolved from a common ancestor, and that humans were not instantly created out of mud and a bone, and by, and in the image of some "god," as they had been indoctrinated to believe?

Yes indeed,  when most Christian students, realize that the foundation from which they had based their religious faith upon, was in fact, all just a big heap of delusional bullshit, most often than not, they will in fact abandon their religious faith.

And here in another speech, Rick Santorum said: "President Obama once said he wants everyone in America to go to college ...what a snob." And then still on this "liberal college indoctrination" theme, Santorum claims: "Obama wants to remake you in his own image" (just look at the crowd that Santorum's pitching this ignorant and racist rhetoric to and how they respond). The one thing that Rick Sanitarium has failed to mention, is that he is also a product of these same "liberal public colleges of indoctrination" (but I guess he's one of the other "38" percent, that has managed to hold onto their religious superstition, religious stupidity and religious ignorance).

The fact is that Santorum would like to defund all forms of public education, and then let the parents decide what they want to teach their own children. And he really means this - he and his wife are homeschooling their own children.

I never thought that I would see the day, when the idea of having our nation filled with uneducated and ignorant people, would be seen as such a good thing within the base of any political party. The base of the Republican Party has devolved into a cesspool of far-right Christian ignorance, stupidity and insanity - and this insanity seems to be playing real well to these uneducated anti-intellectual Christian-bottom-feeders (call me a "snob," its OK!).

My only question is does Rick 'Sanitarium' really believe that playing this insane mix of Christian ideology, will win him the Presidency? I sure hope he wins the GOP nomination!

Herman Cain is also the Sarah Palin’s brother from another mother:

Last night as I was watching the Republican debate and listening to these ass-clowns, trying to come up with coherent answers for simple questions on subjects that one would think that any candidate running for a chance at beating Obama in 2012, and winning the highest office in the land, would have at least taken the time to learn what the facts behind the real issues actually are?

Besides learning that the current frontrunners in this race to the bottom in this cesspool of stupidity and ignorance, both support the use of torture ("enhanced interrogation"), and Herman Cain (the Herman Cain who has said that one of his main priorities in his policy in dealing with China, would be preventing China from developing a nuclear weapon) now wants a clear objective for victory in both of the current wars being fought in the Middle East, and before we even start thinking about bringing our military personal home – sorry Herman, but you’re about 10 years late on the Middle Eastern wars, and almost 50 years late on China. And it also became very clear last night, that Herman Cain doesn’t know jack-shit about the Middle East, or about the different types of religious ideologue, and the direct effect that it has on the politics: however, Cain seems to have developed a new strategy when confronted with questions that he has no fucking clue how to answer – he simply resorts to spewing pretentious rhetoric – this became obvious last night, when he was trying to answer questions about Pakistan and Iran, and even so obvious, that even that cretin from Texas (Governor Rick Perry) looked over at him with a stunned look on his face – like wow, this guy’s even stupider than I am.

Last night’s debate took me back to the day when I heard Sarah Palin’s response to Barbara Walters’ question about if she thought that she could beat Obama in 2012, and Palin responded: “I believe so.” However, I believe Palin soon realized that she had no chance of beating Obama in 2012, or even wining the Republican nomination. So she simply decided to capitalize on her 15 minutes “fame.” Much like Newt Gingrich has been doing all along – the reality is that Gingrich has just a few too many skeletons in his closet to survive a race against Obama and win the White House – and I believe that when the door to Herman Cain’s closet is finally opened, that we’re going to find a whole fucking cemetery in his closet, and complete with an assortment of bats and ravens! And then there’s the fact that Herman Cain is also a lying psychopath:

WASHINGTON (October 10, 2011)—GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain said Monday he didn't want to run for president, but God called him to join the race.

The Republican candidate told CBN News that's why he believes "God's been in this from the beginning."

Cain said that when he felt God calling him to run for president, he resisted just as Moses did after being called by God to lead the Hebrews out of Egypt.

Like Moses, Cain says he told God, "You've got the wrong person. You can't be talking about me."

Cain told CBN News that it took a lot of those "conversations with God" to overcome his reluctance to seek the presidency.

So what about the other current candidates?

Mitt Romney: he is willing to say or do almost anything that will win him points with Christian conservatives. He has already changed his positions on almost everything he stood for when he was the Governor of Massachusetts; like women’s rights, and the abortion issue; health care, and a whole host of other issues as well – and personally, I believe he would even try and change his brand of religious delusion, if he truly believed that would get him into the White House – but conservative Christians, and most of the other Christian-nuts, simply will not vote for a Mormon.

Rick Perry: he will for sure win the support of the “Religious Right,” and most of those delusional and ignorant Christian-nuts in the Deep South, but I don’t believe that most of the other Christians will support this cretin in the general election, nor will the “swing voters.” And Obama would quickly lay his ignorant and delusional, psychotic ass to waste in the debates.

I know that a lot can happen between now and the Presidential Election – but I will say it would be a safe bet that Obama will easily win his second term as President.

Are the Christians today headed back to a mid-evil state of rapture delusion?

I didn’t think much about it when my friend told me about 3 months ago, that a school-mate of his daughters asked if she could live with them for awhile because her family had started acting crazy and saying that the rapture was at hand, and she was becoming more and more afraid of them. She had told him that her mom and dad, and most of her extended family, all believed that President Obama is the antichrist. So they must all start repenting, praying and fasting so they will all be ready when jesus arrives. By the end of our conversation, I realized that he was asking for my advice in this matter; and I told him if it was me, I wouldn’t get involved with those loony bat-shit crazy Christians. I told him that for the past 2000 years; in every few decades or so, some mentally ill Christian moron or another has proclaimed, “The hour of the lord, was at hand.” I told him most of these types of silly Christians are so childlike in their mentality, that they’ll soon lose interest in this silly idea, and just return to hating gays or something else.

I started thinking about this girl’s parents rapture delusion, again about two weeks ago after reading the results of a poll, in which more than 24% of the far-right Christians said, that they also believe that Obama is the antichrist. So are they also now preparing for the “rapture” too, I wondered? However, I simply dismissed the poll numbers as those of the likes of the Tea-Baggers, as just being racists stupid and ignorant. Then this past Friday, as I pulled into the parking lot of a convenient-store, and there were 4 well dressed proselytizers accosting customers and saying, “Obama was the antichrist and Satan himself, and Christ would be returning before the end of Obama’s first term as President” I started thinking just maybe I have been taking this latest of Christian senselessness, a little too lightly. Then today, I was reading about the FBI arresting members of a Christian cult:

DETROIT – Nine suspects tied to a Christian militia that was preparing for the Antichrist were charged with conspiring to kill police officers, then attack a funeral using homemade bombs in the hopes of killing more law enforcement personnel, federal prosecutors said Monday.

Now I’m starting to wonder if we all need to take the words and actions of these deluded and ignorant Christians a little more seriously. I’ve read many stories that when in the past Christians have started down this path to this type of delusional psychosis; they started killing their children and themselves. Whole families committed suicide, so they could all be together with jesus.

My personal opinion is that anyone who would totally wrap their life around a story written in a book, which tells of such things as talking-snakes and virgin-born saviors – isn’t wrapped very tight in the first place. I wonder if this is the start of a new trend; the latest in a 2000 year old psychotic delusion. And is history on the verge of repeating again, the times when deluded Christian started seeing the Jews and people of other religions (including atheists) as a hindrance between them, the rapture and jesus – so they just started killing the “god-less heathens.” Are we now in danger again as well? And where in the hell is this deluded bullshit coming from this time?

Embryonic Stem Cell Research: And Christian Ignorance

I’ve been following the reactions of the rightwing Christian asshole’s who are now calling President, Barack Hussein Obama, a baby and child killer; over his decision to restore federal funding of stem cell research…..

Christian Newswire: WASHINGTON, Mar. 9 -- In a time when America is spiraling down into an abyss of debt, joblessness and economic turmoil President Barack Hussein Obama has been putting a great deal of his time into a big push to kill as many children as possible.

Obama has been President for less than two months and in that time he has overturned the
Mexico City policy which means American tax dollars will be used to pay for foreign abortions.

He has also been working relentlessly to force physicians to either kill "unwanted children" or refer their patients to other baby killers.

His latest effort is to ensure that even more children are killed by removing the ban from
embryonic stem cell experiments. To date, current research on embryonic stem cells has resulted in no promising results. Our President is a learned man -- he knows this fact.

He also knows that
adult stem cells have proven to be extremely successful in finding cures to various ills. We all applaud the use of adult stem cells! Using adult stem cells is perfectly ethical -- no one has to die and no one should. Yet, Barack Obama is persistent and deliberate in his actions to continue the killing of babies.

One must ask: Why?

Why would anyone be so bent on helping to grow industries that include gruesome dismembering and experimentation on other
human beings?

We are well aware that abortion and
embryonic stem cell supporters lined the silk campaign pockets of our new President along the campaign trail, so it stands to reason that pay back is a core motive for adamantly supporting the killing of these very small children.

My hope is that President Barack Obama will see
embryonic stem cell research for the monster it really is.

Using human beings as guinea pigs is the type of experimentation that was horrifically wrong when Hitler's
Mengele did it and it is equally wrong for "America's Mengeles".

The first step in the process of 'in vitro fertilization' is the harvesting of the woman's eggs (usually two dozen or so). The next step in the laboratory, the identified eggs are stripped of surrounding cells and prepared for fertilization and then frozen. Some of the fertilized eggs are then implanted in the walls of her uterus, if the pregnancy is successful, then, the remaining frozen eggs; if unwanted by the woman, are discarded: (is this murder as well?)

What remains frozen in those test tubs is by no stretch, a human life. It’s just the first stage of an embryo; a blastisis (a few dozen cells at best). Yes, and some do have the potential to become a human life, but at that stage, one can’t even be seen, with the naked eye.

Stem cell research, offers the best hope we have in finding cures for a whole host of medical conditions: including diabetes, heart attack, the improved movement in spinal cord injury patients and more.

It saddens me to see, these ignorant fucking Christian morons are more concerned about the ethical treatment of medical waste and byproducts. Then, in the finding of new ways, that will actual help real human beings. I think if they’re this fucking concerned about this issue. Then they should all volunteer too, each host one or more of these unwanted frozen embryos, bring them to term, and raise it as their fucking own, (the men included). And if they’re not willing to do that, then just shut the fuck up, and stop being the voice of ignorance, while trying to be the voice of fucking morality!!!
