Something is just a little fishy up here in Seattle:

I get a kick, every time I read this sign; this sign has been on the wall of Ivar’s fish-bar, ever since that I can remember. When I was about 10 years of age, I ask a lady who was working at the bar just why the 3 cup limit. She said: “it makes guys horny, you guys should try some.” In hindsight, I wonder just what was wrong with her – we were only 10 at the time?

I really don’t know why people believe such silly nonsense, but some folks do in fact believe that this stuff improves sex; and they sell gallons of the stuff.

If you love eating fish, and you are in Seattle, this place is a must visit. The fish is simply the best!

On one of those eat weird food adventure cooking shows the dude made the comment that no matter what country he goes to there is a sexual elixir that usually consists of blood-or something gross. As far a clam necter, if it's like Clamato (Budweiser), then yea, after the third or fourth one I'm horny; but not because of magic, because of the alcohol. Awesomeness.

I really believe that Ivar had intended the sign as a joke; however, there are those who believe that anything that is written is true, just look at how those folks believe that asinine BS in the bible – they have even told me that they believe that tripe is true, simply because its written in the buy-bull.

I’ve only tried Ivar’s nectar once, and to me it was just fishy tasting water at best – the chowder on the other hand, is simply good! I totally agree that alcohol is kick-ass as a sexual elixir, but there are those who will eat and drink some real weird things – eating tiger penis:

I thought that oysters were supposed to be the prime aphrodisiac.

That has got to be one of the longest lived wives’ tales ever. I believe if eating oysters have any effect as a aphrodisiac, it’s purely placebo – but the mind does in fact control the body, LOL, so who am I to say, hell, I mean they kind of look like one!
Of course I know that oysters as an aphrodisiac is old wives' tale. I ate a dozen of them last night and only nine of them worked.
